What is orthopedic rehabilitation?
Orthopedic rehabilitation is used to treat back and neck pain, shoulder injuries, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, postoperative rehabilitation, sprains and strains, tennis or golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and more. Physical therapists design treatment programs based on your injury and goals. Your treatment program may include strength training and functional exercises designed to increase strength, endurance, and function of the muscles that support the injured area and reduce the stress on the affected joint.
